- Junior to mid-level government officials working in ocean affairs/maritime law OR
- Researchers specializing in maritime legal issues
Research Proposal: Must submit a research proposal relevant to their country’s UNCLOS implementation (Part XV)
Nomination: Must be officially nominated, with an explanation of how the training will benefit their institution or country
Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in English or French (English is the primary language of instruction)
- Working knowledge of the second language is preferred
